THEY MISSED SOMETHING!

September 6th, 2008

Last night on TV they had a great fund raiser called Stand Up For Cancer-a degenerative disease that affects millions of Americans. A great many stars and musicians told the stories of the many cancer victims. I have two dear friends who are 2 time survivors of cancer and even if they do not speak of it I am sure that it is on their minds. I can’t imagine it and I applaud them for their bravery.

Cancer statistics are overwhelming: 10,000 people die of cancer each week, 1 person a minute.

Even the two presidential candidates, Obama and McCain publicly said that they would support the campaign to fight cancer.

During the program they listed some of the preventive methods that we can do for ourselves to avoid cancer:

  • Exercise
  • Live a life of less stress
  • Stop smoking
  • Never start to smoke
  • Eat less red meat
  • Eat foods rich in antioxidants like broccoli and cauliflower
  • Women get regular mammograms
  • Men get regular prostrate exams

But they missed one very important preventive method.

  • Take a good nutritional supplement.

Our bodies need to replace the millions of cells we lose each year with healthy cells to fight against the free radicals found in our environment; smog, polluted water, stress and a poor food supply due to the lack nutrients in the soil.

We all need the help of a good pharmaceutical grade nutritional supplement, ones that we can trust that will provide us with the protection to maintain our cells at an optimal level.

Be responsible!

Keep your body healthy, pay attention!

Totally agree with you. How get regular mammograms prevent the cancer? The society is conditioned by the medical community.
