UR HEALTH AND WEALTH GUIDE FOR 2008

August 2nd, 2008

“So many people spend their health gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health.”

A.J. Reb Materi

YOUR HEALTH IS YOU.

YOUR WEALTH REPRESENTS YOUR ACTUAL WORK.

GUIDE TO HEALTH AND WEALTH–2008!

1. Exercise regularly….Make sure that you exercise at least 30minutes 3-4 times a week. I found a great inexpensive way to exercise on a regular basis by signing up for a class at the local city college. There are trainers and all the exercise equipment necessary. If city college is not available resource , check with local community groups ie pools, adult education classes. Tip: an exercise partner will keep you accountable.

2. Eat healthy…..Shop for items in season and pick organic. Stay away from highly sugared foods. Do you know that you can develop an addiction to sweets and carbs according to Dr. Ray Strand, M.D., a leading authority and author on nutritional medicine, “Releasing Fat” is saying that giving into those sugar cravings can lead to ill health and costly medical care.

3. Take only high quality nutritional supplements….Cheap vitamins may be just that cheap. Many vitamins do no have what is on the label, some are not biodegradable, and most are FDA approved not pharmaceutical grade. Under the active Dietary and Supplement and Health Education Act, producers of dietary supplements do not have to verify that their products are effective, safe, or healthy before placing them on store shelves. Why take a chance, do you do diligence and research your vitamins.

4. Drink lots of water…For me, the jury is still out on the need to always drink filtered water but drink at least 64 ozs of water per day is good. Coffee, sodas, fruit drinks are not good substitutes and can be both unhealthy and costly.

5. Get annual medical and dental check-up… Be preventive in your health care, know ahead of time if you are developing some health problem that can cost your health and much money.

Wishing your the best of health n wealth 2008

    Rebecca,

Wow! Lots of really good information most of us don’t abide by. I know for myself, #4 is a big one for me – drink lots of water. I need to drink more water, but I like my coffee during the day and grapefruit juice in the evenings.

    Thanks for sharing. Cheers! -Joyce
