Life has always been full of many challenges. In the 20’s our folks had to deal with the depression, wars, poverty, health issues, etc. Can you (if old enough) remember our elders sit around talking and/or complaining how life is so tough. I do!

Has things changed? Not really, technology has improved but the issues of poverty, health care and wars still exist. And now we better start taking care of things if we want them to continue to exist like clean air and water, just to start.

Will they ever change? I do not have an answer for that but I do know that if we do not start, it will be too late.

But do we need be depressed about these issues? Not me, I can not change what I do not have control of…but I know that I can change my own destiny.

Want to make changes:

• Do you like your job?
• Are you happy in your relationship?
• Are you healthy?
• Do you have enough money to enjoy life?

Ways out!

• Make changes today! Don’t wait until tomorrow!
• Make a list of what you want to do.
• Then make a time schedule of what you need to do to meet those goals. Be reasonable.

What I do!

I am a network marketer because of these many benefits:

• TIME: set your own hours, perfect family business.
• LOCATION: live or be anywhere…all you need is a cell phone and laptop, on vacation, in your home office.
• DRESS: informal.
• BOSS: you are the CEO, choose your business partners; cannot be fired or downsized.
• TAX SAVINGS: save more than $3,000 per year.
• START UP COSTS: minimal and low monthly overhead, no lights to pay.
• TRAINING: work with others that will show how to do this business.
• PERSONAL DEVELOPMENT: build your own self confidence and other aspects of your life, learn to work and build with a team of like minded people.
• TIMING: most mlm companies are forward in their thinking, pick one that you can stand behind, more people are joining the network marketing field.
• SYSTEM: pick a system to help you promote and manage your business.

CAN OUR ECONOMY LEAD TO OBESITY!

Fact: Yesterday the latest business polls showed that MacDonald has increased their sales. This is at the same time we see local restaurants closing, job layoffs, housing foreclosures, school budgets cuts, and the list goes on.
But how can our economy downtrend be affecting our food consumption.

Why, because the fast food chains are offering recession prices for their hamburgers, tacos, etc.   So to feed the family it may be cheaper than going to the store and buying a bag organic apples, bunch of bananas, and oranges.

Is this good.

No, we are already have a diabetes and obesity health epidemic due mainly to the foods we consume. Children are especially at high risk. At a recent conference, Dr. Christina Woods, a pediatrician in San Diego is seeing 20% more preschoolers that are over weight.

All of this will result in much higher health costs for everyone.

What can you do? You have a choice.

• Eat cheap foods at cheap prices now and pay for health care later.

• Or budget more for your food now, cut costs somewhere else and have less health issues now and later.

All of us should have someone that we look up to, someone that is successful, a hero.

It can be a sports figure, movie star, poet or in my case a financial genius.

I have attended seminars, attended conferences, and read articles and books by Robert Allen, a best selling author of Nothing Down, Creating Wealth and the One Minute Millionaire.

I have never been disappointed in what advice he has to offer.

He has always advised multiple streams of income. Not to just depend on one income. So as a result I have more than one income source. Sometimes it can be a crazy trying to keep all the various balls/businesses up in the air at the same time. But in the end they pay me off and I am not worried about the current economy.

Recently Robert Allen wrote an article in the Feb-March issue of Inc entitled AreYouRecession-Proof? In it he speaks to the financial crisis facing our country. Companies, banks, etc. that we thought would never have problems are closing their doors or asking the US government to bail them out and there are more people out of work than ever before.

Are you scared? You should be unless you have a business that will not be affected by this turn in our national economy. He suggests that you have your own business where you can create an additional stream of income and be in charge of your own future.

Be in charge of your financial future and the best advice Robert Allen gives to have a home based business where you always rely on an extra stream of income. And lucky for me I chose the same company that Robert Allen is in.
