Read lately in a newspaper article from Spokane, Washington how the country’s local, state and national governments are not budgeting enough money to keep up the local rails and public transportation.  Rather more money is put into building and maintaining roads, bridges, etc.  In other words laying more concrete and asphalt rather than making a better train system like in Europe and start eliminating cars thus pollution, creating more green spaces, etc.

Are we not looking at the big picture?

This pollution from too many cars on the road flows over to our bodies.  Most of all our major diseases, heart, cancer, diabetes, auto immune  can be trace to oxidative damage.

Oxidative damage or stress is caused by free radicals.

“The free-radical theory of aging (FRTA) states that organisms age because cells accumulate free radical damage over time. A free radical is any atom or molecule that has a single unpaired electron in an outer shell. While a few free radicals such as melanin are not chemically reactive, most biologically-relevant free radicals are highly reactive. For most biological structures, free radical damage is closely associated with oxidative damage. Antioxidants are reducing agents, and limit oxidative damage to biological structures by passivating free radicals.” Wikipedia, free encyclopedia

As per the above definition we can reduce the amount of oxidative stress by taking antioxidants.

This is how I became a network marketer, my immune system had been compromised and I needed to turn it around.  I started taking recommended vitamin supplements from a direct sales company.  I never looked back, the vitamins were scientifically based formulas including 2-3oz of olive oil.  If you look at charts that show the healthiest people in the world, the Mediterranean area is #1 due to the fact that they have olive oil in their diet.

I ask you to take a good look at what you are doing for your immunological health.

What can you do!

Make noise, write letters to your local governments, and get more money spent on public transportation.

Look at what you are putting into your personal body, good food, exercise and a good antioxidant.  If you are not sure of which ones, compare them.

Just listened to a DVD from my primary network marketing company, Usana and the president, Dave Wentz said “we take better care of our cars than we do of our own health”.

That is crazy! That cannot be true!

Take this test!!!

What will you do first?

1. Make sure the car has the required oil change, repaired light, polished and cleaned.

2. The dog is properly vaccinated, eating the best food, and had its daily walk.

3. Or have you eaten properly, exercised, taken your good nutritional vitamins, and reduced stress.

WHAT WAS YOUR HONEST ANSWER!

We have only this one body, what will our car and dog do without us.

I continually hear people say that they don’t have the money to buy the vitamins for themselves, or they will go and buy the cheapest ones they can find.

Is that going to help them prevent the degenerative diseases that are  growing fast in our world due to environment and life styles.

No, one day the doctor may say to you, “I am sorry to tell you this but you have diabetes or the big C.

Was it preventable? Maybe if you had taken better care of you.

Will your car last longer if you keep it well maintained?

Hi everyone,

These past two weeks we have seen and heard much about Michael Jackson. For me he was one of the greatest and most misunderstood artists to have graced our planet.

But one of the messages I keep hearing from many of his close associates that he had a vision and or dream to be the greatest entertainer that ever was.

He did just that! No matter what happened, where he was, how he felt health wise,what people said, he continued with his dream:

TO BE THE GREATEST ENTERTAINER THAT EVER LIVED!

How does this relate to me and you?

Hopefully each of us has a dream. Not many of us will be world wide as great as Michael, but for us and our family we can get be just as great; maybe a great dad or friend or grandchild. But if you decide to be that then be that!

As Jim Rohn say’s “Be there if you are going to be there!”

How does all this relate to Network Marketing? Network marketing is not an easy job, it can be simple but you must have a dream of what you want to achieve. You must work hard, not just today but everyday. Dreams are built upon consistent effort.

Maybe you want to make a certain income, rid yourself of the 9-5 job, be a stay-at-home dad, buy a new car , be able to free of some of those bills coming in the mail everyday and maybe just help your friends and family be in a better financial situation.

It does not matter the most important thing is to make up your mind to follow your dream and keep at it.
Al Sharpton said at Michael’s memorial, “if he was knocked down, he just got back up and kept going”. And we can see that Michael did not let anything keep him from his dream.

What is keeping you from your dream? YOU?

I just spent an incredible evening with Todd Falcone, one of the top leaders and trainers in the network marketing industry.  His bio reads world renowned author, speaker and peak performance coach.

Here are some tidbits:

• FIRST…MAKE THE DECISION…TO BE A SUCCESSFUL NETWORK MARKETER. Show up for events, be a student of success, read and listen to all the experts in the field.  YOU are your biggest asset!
• SECOND…HAVE A BELIEF IN YOURSELF, YOUR BUSINESS AND YOUR COMPANY.  If you have doubt, doubt will rule.  You will never have the posture of success.  That is not to say that everything will be golden, reality is that there will always be hard or tough days, people will say NO to your opportunity, but that is not saying NO to you.  Pick yourself up, dust off and keep on going.
• THIRD….CONSISTENCY…Don’t show up to work just one day…but everyday.  Set goals of how many people you are going to talk to each and everyday…and then do it.  Todd Falcone made the analogy of fishing to network marketing…if you never throw you line in the water, you will never get a fish.

I must admit that a year ago,  I was not a successful network marketer, but I have learned to employ these techniques and I am seeing great success.

TIME: We only have so many hours in a day so make them work for you. Divide the time between work, projects of passion and family.

• Time saving devices: The world is full of gadgets that can help us use our time more efficiently Just take a short walk through your own living space…..microwaves, cell phones, laptops, remote control devices, CD players in the autos, etc.

• In my work as a network marketer I use an efficient time saving system that saves me lots and lots of time sorting and sifting through people that come to me and say that they are interested in an MLM business. I could spend hours on the phone or meeting presenting what I do and many are not really interested for a million different reasons…so why do it. Get a system that will do it for you and then meet with them.

• Family time is family time. Make sure that you have enough quality time each day to spend with your family, kids, parents, friends….very important.

• Make the most of each and every day…make time work for you.

I have been in the network marketing business for almost 10 years and I continually heard how this business works 24/7…..that it pays you when you sleep, go on vacation, have a new baby or most recently for me, when your entire community is under siege of an out of control fire.  I live in Santa Barbara, California and this past week we experienced the third fire in under one year and because this one affected over 30,000 residents( a third of the entire community) all of us felt it. Plus it was out of control during the dark of night.  But thanks to the hard work of the firefighters, city officials, rescue organizations and the community members themselves we have come out on the other with no fatalities and fewer homes lost and everyone is back in their homes.

So why am I writing this post.

IMPORTANT QUESTION:

Do you have a backup plan?  What are you going to do if something happens that stops you from earning an income.

Maybe take a good look at what network marketing can offer….residual income, tax benefits, open 24/7, work when you want, low start-up costs, ability for the average person to earn a 7 figure income, no dress code, and on and on.

I am retired now. Health wise I planned correctly and financially I did not, so I am still working. Lucky for me I am doing things I like and I know that in a couple of years I will be able to let go of a lot the extra work.

As I was thinking about the entire life’s cycle, I have found an interesting and scary concept. By dividing my life into three equal parts, given that I live to 90 years, I found that they following are true for most of us.

1^st part (0-30years)…..getting born, struggling thru those maturing stages, graduating from high school, now what…most of us old folks either went to college or got married and had a family and found a safe secure job.

2nd part(30-60years)….some of us are still trying to find the right job or honey, others having their kids reaching the teenage scene and still working on that safe secure job if you are lucky, spending most of your time trying to keep everything working and going forward, investing the extra money in an IRA or money marketing account.

3rd part (60-90years)….now is the time to think about those retirement years, the time when you can do as you please…BUT WAIT…are you financially secure, did you invest enough money, oh, forget that you just lost your shirt, did you take good care of your health or do you have some degenerative disease that you can not reverse, are you happy.

OH WHAT SHOULD YOU DO NOW!

• It is never too late to make the changes necessary to get control of your life.
• Helpful to have a business that you work from home, good suggestion is network marketing, maybe in something that you are already trained or can stand behind.

To understand what places value on your
MLM business, you must first understand the
4 principles of network marketing – or what to look for in a business.

HUGE EXPANDING MARKET:

It doesn’t matter how good you are in an industry that is eroding.  A thriving market is everything in any network marketing business.

UNIQUE CONSUMABLE PRODUCT:

If you don’t have a unique product, you will always be competing on price and convenience.  Who has the best price and who is closest to the customer?  If you are unique in your product or service people will come to you.  If you want repeat sales the product should be consumable.  A non-consumable product means you’re unemployed until the next sale.

TIMING:

Timing trends is crucial.  Throughout all cycles of the economy there are people who are making money and losing money.  The makers are those in front of the trends; the losers disregard trends.  How do you get in front of large trends?  You must study what creates them.  Without any hesitation in today’s society it’s the Baby Boomer generation that creates the largest trends.  In the USA 70,000,000 were born during that time period and a billion were born worldwide.  Why is this group so talked about?  It’s because they represent only 1/3 of the US population but control 65% of all the money.  So what will be the next big trends? (1) Health (2) Looking Younger (3) Education (4) Retirement (5) Security (6) Money, for example.  If you want to be brilliantly compensated, you must focus on industries and companies that have positioned themselves at the front.

ABILITY TO CREATE LEVERAGE:

We are not taught leverage in our society.  We are taught to get a good education, build a résumé and exchange our expertise for someone else’s dollars.  The problem with that is if we are not exchanging our expertise we’re not making any dollars.  So vacation time is costly!  A walk around a golf course is costly; family time, although extremely important, is costly!

The definition for Leverage is an increased means by which to attain something.
One form of leverage is investing $5,000,000 dollars and earning 10% interest on it. This will yield approximately $41,000 per month in income.  So whether you’re walking around a golf course, enjoying a vacation or family time, you still enjoy $41,000/month in income. You’re leveraging off your money; and that’s leverage that everyone would like, but few enjoy.

In the right business vehicle it takes 200% to be successful:  100% from yourself and 100% from the business vehicle you’ve chosen; the correct vehicle that has all four of these principles.
